How RR is calculated
Rated Rating (RR) on a per-match basis is a function of win/loss, MMR delta versus the lobby, and your performance inside the match. The performance bonus disappears at Ascendant — at the top of the ladder you climb purely on win rate. That is why boosters who play your duo queue tend to be most effective in Plat-Diamond, where the performance multiplier still rewards individual carry.
Placement matches
At the start of every Act you get five placement matches. Your placement rank is biased toward your previous rank — placements that go 3-2 typically place one division below where you finished last Act. A focused placement boost can lock you a tier higher than coasting through them yourself.
Which package fits your rank
Iron through Silver: per-win boost works fine; you only need a handful of clean games. Gold through Platinum: rank boost with duo queue is the sweet spot. Diamond and above: solo rank boost from a verified Immortal-rank booster. Ascendant to Immortal: hourly coaching often beats a pure boost, because at that tier the limiting factor is your habits, not your raw RR.
