1 What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website places on your device through your browser. We also use similar browser storage (local storage) for the same purposes, and this policy covers both.
2 Categories we use
The consent banner asks for your choice on your first visit. Nothing optional is switched on until you turn it on, and Reject all is as easy as Accept all. Each cookie we set is listed in the table at the end of this policy.
Necessary (always active): signing in and keeping your session secure, your cart, checkout and payment fraud prevention (Stripe, PayPal, Coinbase Commerce), bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile), your display preferences such as currency, and the record of your cookie choice itself. The live chat (tawk.to) is also necessary: it is our support channel, and it only works while its own storage is available. These need no consent because the site cannot work without them.
Analytics (optional): Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager. Nothing is sent to Google until you allow it. When you allow it, analytics cookies measure how the site is used.
Marketing (optional): the Google Ads tag and the Meta and TikTok pixels, which measure and personalise our advertising. None of these scripts is loaded at all until you allow Marketing. If you withdraw it later, they stop sending events at once and their cookies are deleted, and they are no longer loaded from the next page load.
3 Your choice and how long it lasts
Your choice is stored only in your browser for up to 12 months, never on your account, so each browser and device asks separately. We ask again when the categories change. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from the Cookie settings link in the site footer, or block cookies entirely in your browser settings, though signing in and checkout will then stop working.
4 Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out of sharing your data for advertising: Marketing stays off in that browser whatever the banner says. Analytics follows your banner choice.
5 Changes and contact
We update this policy whenever we add or remove a cookie. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page shows the latest revision. For questions, contact support@ogedge.com.
