What a rent-a-raider hour looks like from the inside: booking the slot, getting on comms, who leads the extraction, how the loot rule is agreed before the drop, and why nobody ever asks for your login.
You have read what the service covers and you still want to know what the session itself looks like once the two of you are actually on the surface. This walks through the part the service page does not, which is the hour itself, from booking the slot to agreeing who keeps what before anybody drops.
What you are actually booking
A rent-a-raider order is a block of time with a raider who plays alongside you. You are in your own game, on your own account, with your own hands on the keyboard. What you are buying is the second player, somebody who knows the routes, the patrol behaviour and the extraction windows well enough to turn a run that would have ended badly into one where you both walk out.
That is the whole difference from a piloted order. Nothing is delivered while you are away from the screen, because you are at the screen for all of it, and your account never changes hands.
Self-play, in plain terms
Self-play means nobody asks for a login, nobody sits on your account, and nobody needs your email or your password. The raider adds you in game the way any squadmate would. If anyone ever asks you for credentials for a self-play service, stop and open a ticket with support, because that is not how it works here.
Getting the session started
Placing the order opens a chat thread, and the raider you are matched with answers in it. Everything before the first drop happens there.
Agree a window. You say when you can play, the raider confirms a slot that works on their side. A session is a booking rather than something you queue into whenever.
Swap in-game names in the order chat rather than anywhere else, so the session leaves one record.
